Conditions of Booking
Payment
A deposit of thirty pounds (£30.00) per caravan per week is required. The balance to be paid 14 days prior to your holiday dates. All cheques to be made payable to Palins Holiday Park. If booking within 7 days of your holiday date, payment must be made in full - Cash or Credit Card only. Value Added Tax is included in all prices at the current rate of 17.5%, where applicable. In the event of any changes in the VAT regulations or rate, these shall be passed on to you, the client, as necessary.
Cancellation
We hope the situation will not arise, but should you have to cancel at short notice, we do offer Park Cancellation Plan. This is not an insurance policy. The charge is ten pounds (£10.00) per week booked to be included with your deposit. If you choose to take out the Park Cancellation Plan and your holiday payment has been made in full, you will receive a full refund (minus the deposit). Cancellation of your holiday must be made by the person who signed the booking form and must be submitted in writing after first advising the reception by telephone. A doctor's medical certificate is required to show the cancellation is unavoidable.
Dogs
You are welcome to bring your dog with you on holiday. There will be a charge of thirty pounds (£30.00) per dog per week booked to be included with your deposit. No dog is to be left unattended in the caravan at any given time. We would ask you to bring your dog's basket or bedding and do not allow your dog on the seating or bedding of your caravan. In the interest of hygiene, please ensure that your dog does not foul on the park at any given time and does not cause a nuisance to other holidaymakers. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your holiday.
Key Deposit
A deposit of thirty pounds (£30.00) is payable in cash on arrival. This will be refunded after the housekeeper has inspected your caravan (please see procedure in reception, also in your information folder) located in your caravan. Please report to reception any discrepancies or problems with your caravan as soon as possible.
Booking Procedure
Once you have chosen the type of caravan you require, please fill in the online booking form. Remember to include the names of all members of your party and your full postal address. Your caravan will become available for your occupation on the date of your arrival between 3.00pm and 5.00pm. In busy periods these times may vary and possibly be later than 5.00pm. N.B. Any special requirements i.e. ramps etc. to be requested at time of booking. Should the situation arise, we may need to relocate your caravan, however it will be one of the same grading.
Late Arrivals
Persons expecting to arrive after 5.00pm must inform reception, on the date of arrival, by telephone or in writing, to arrange collection of keys. Failure to inform the reception of any delays may result in the accommodation being re-let and a call out charge incurred.
Fun Pool
Please note there is an entrance charge to the Fun Pool of £2.00 daily or £8.00 weekly, per person. Children under 4 years are free of charge. Passes are purchased from reception. Under 15's must be accompanied by an adult.
Club
Membership of the Club is £4.50 for adults and £3.50 for children; all children aged under 4 years go free.
Singles
Sorry, we do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties at any time.
